About this role

              Responsibilities/Expertise:

Ø  Demonstrate strong domain expertise in mortgage closing process, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and adherence to investor and regulatory guidelines.

Ø  Lead and oversee the review of closing documents to ensure completeness, accuracy, and compliance with company policies and industry standards.

Ø  Prepare and validate Closing Disclosures (CDs), including loan terms, interest rates, closing costs, and payment details, ensuring timely delivery and regulatory compliance.

Ø  Coordinate effectively with escrow/title companies to reconcile fees, resolve discrepancies, and maintain accurate Closing Disclosure updates.

Ø  Review and approve complete CD packages, including all required compliance and closing documentation, prior to submission and borrower delivery.

Ø  Ensure timely distribution of Homeowner Review (HWR) packages to borrowers, monitor acknowledgments and signatures, and facilitate a smooth closing process.

Ø  Manage the preparation and delivery of final closing packages to escrow/title companies, including Final Option Agreements, Closing Instructions, Final Settlement Statements, and other required disclosures.

Ø  Review funding packages received from escrow/title companies to verify execution completeness and ensure all closing conditions have been satisfied prior to funding.

Ø  Monitor team performance, provide guidance and mentorship, and ensure adherence to operational procedures, quality standards, and service-level agreements (SLAs).

Ø  Prepare process reports, productivity metrics, quality dashboards, and management updates to support operational decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives.

Ø  Maintain excellent communication serving as a primary point of contact for clients, business partners, and internal teams to address escalations, provide status updates, and ensure client satisfaction.

Ø  Conduct regular client interactions, participate in review meetings, and effectively communicate process performance, risk assessments, and resolution plans.
