The Role

Condé Nast Italy is looking for a Creative Video Producer to oversee the creative production of video related to Conde Nast’s prestigious brands in Italy, such as Vogue, Vanity Fair, GQ, AD. The person will support the local Head of Video, based in Milan, in ideating and executing video series that support the iconic attributes of Conde Nast brands in Italy, to drive audience growth across digital platforms and support monetization. Video output includes original, social video, and podcast content for global digital platforms (e.g. O&O, YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok); syndicated series for local markets and video franchises that transcend platforms and markets. The ideal candidate works in a fast-paced, social-first world; is a self-starter, and has a passion for Conde Nast’s iconic brands and a visual and story-telling aesthetic that is aligned to our brands.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Support Head of Video in the ideation and production/direction of video series that amplify Conde Nast’s brands’ iconic attributes, audience growth and monetization

  • Direct and maintain end-to-end ownership over video shoots

  • Work hand in hand with the Local Production Manager to deliver series on time, within budget, and to a high standard

  • Oversee calendars planning both for editorial and commercial projects

  • Manage and supervise workflows between planning and production departments

  • Alongside Production Management, facilitate logistics for shoots including but not limited to coordinating/booking crew, and equipment, managing/tracking location and talent agreements, location permissions, risk assessment, booking transport, and cost/budgets associated with production

  • Review, edit, and approve preliminary and final treatments, outlines, shooting scripts, scripts, casting, production schedules, budgets, and final versions of all assigned programs, with supervision from the Head of Video

  • Alongside Production Management, manage the post-production process, responsible for collecting all creative notes throughout, and ensuring deadlines are being met

  • Edit select videos and/or provide detailed notes on cuts provided by the Condé Nast post team

Primary Skills & Qualifications

  • 3+ years experience producing and developing video content on various platforms with a passion and interest in internet culture and digital media

  • Professional working proficiency in Italian and English, both written and spoken

  • A demonstrable track record in production execution

  • Experienced at dealing with A-list talents, celebrities and experts (and their reps) with professionalism and discretion, as a face of the brand

  • Film and conduct interviews in the field, in-studio, or via all means necessary

  • Strong understanding of production and post-production workflow

  • Experience managing a slate of multiple projects simultaneously

  • Ability to shoot and edit short social contents through mobile apps

  • A strong knowledge of and interest in Conde Nast Brands

  • Ability to work collaboratively, receive feedback, and provide notes on projects is a must

  • Ability to hit hard deadlines

  • A master communicator and always a solution-oriented adult in the room

Salary Range

The position is expected to be classified from the 3rd to the 2nd level under the “Graphic - Editorial” Collective Bargaining Agreement, with an annual gross salary ranging from €32.600 to €40.000, in addition to a comprehensive employee benefits package. In Condé Nast, salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including - but not limited to - relevant skills, training, experience and education.
