Senior Food Safety Systems Specialist

About this role

Reporting to Director, Food Safety Systems, you will lead the implementation, support, and continuous improvement of food safety and quality systems across the organization. You will partner with Food Safety, Quality, Regulatory, Information Technology, Manufacturing, and external stakeholders to drive technology solutions, business process improvements, regulatory compliance, and actionable insights that strengthen food safety and quality performance.

A Taste of Your Responsibilities

  • Lead cross-functional projects supporting food safety systems, process improvements, business requirements, implementation activities, stakeholder alignment, risk mitigation, and change management.

  • Administer and continuously improve enterprise food safety and quality platforms including SampleManager Laboratory Information Management System, FoodLogiQ, Palantir, ServiceNow, and related technologies.

  • Serve as the primary liaison between Food Safety, Quality, Regulatory, Information Technology, Manufacturing, and external partners to align business needs with technology solutions.

  • Develop reporting, analytics, dashboards, and data management capabilities that deliver actionable food safety and quality insights and support informed decision-making.

  • Provide technical support, training, troubleshooting, and compliance guidance while driving system adoption and continuous improvement across corporate, laboratory, and manufacturing locations.

Ingredients Required for Your Success

  • Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Biological Science, Chemical Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field.

  • 5+ years of relevant food industry, quality, regulatory, technology, or food safety experience.

  • Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional projects, technology implementations, business system enhancements, and process improvement initiatives.

  • Experience working with food safety, quality, laboratory, or traceability systems such as SampleManager Laboratory Information Management System, FoodLogiQ, Palantir, ServiceNow, or similar platforms.

  • Knowledge of data analytics, reporting, dashboard development, manufacturing processes, and continuous improvement methodologies including Lean, Six Sigma, Statistical Process Control, and Capability Studies.

  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, investigative, and critical thinking skills, along with knowledge of applicable food industry regulations and standards.

You may be required to walk around the facility, climb stairs/ladders, kneel, or perform repetitive tasks that require hand-eye coordination.
You may be required to lift or carry materials that can vary in weight and size.
This is a manufacturing environment with large, moving equipment. Noise levels can be high, and temperatures may vary.

Compensation

Pay Range:$82,000-$120,000

The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee’s actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees’ equity. Conagra Brands will comply with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees.
