The Office Service Coordinator position available at the residential program. Must have excellent organizational, written and communications skills. Must be outcome oriented in a fast paced environment with deadlines. The Office Service Coordinator will partner with team members to provide excellent service to the program clients.This position offers a generous benefit package including health insurance, dental, vision, dependent care, paid time off, 401(k), tuition assistance program and more.
Essential Duties
Performs client banking on a weekly basis as when required.
Prepares and submits, for each banking day, all transactions, required reports and documentation to the Finance Department and Program Director including, but not limited to: balance salesforce reports
Collects all monthly occupancy fees prepares monthly rent report.
Prepares, coordinates, and maintains filing systems for all required paperwork related to client banking records, petty cash transactions, check requests, and purchase orders.
Purchases, with approval of the Program Director, and maintains an inventory of office supplies, furniture and equipment.
Attends all meetings and trainings as required.
Good interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team.
Organize and assist activities planned to enhance the social development of individual group members.
Assist with the teaching of physical education, arts and crafts, performing arts, music, sports, ADL or other recreational activities.
Organize, assist with group community activities. coordinate social and/or peer support events for clients.
Assist Case Manager in reviewing all documentation establishing tenants’ eligibility for program and make file copies.
Create and maintain tenant and program files.
Communicate effectively with clients, staff, community members and funders.
Provide administrative and clerical support to ensure the smooth operations of all departments.
Performs all other duties as assigned.
Experience working with the client population preferred.
QualificationsEducation and Experience Requirement(s)
Associate’s Degree in human services or related field
Two (2) years’ administrative work experience
Experience working on setting with client population
Bilingual skills in English/Spanish a plus
Excellent oral and written communication skills; proficiency with MS Office and Google product suites
Ability to perform and manage in a team approach; excellent interpersonal skills
Ability to handle complex challenges and balance multiple demands on time and attention
Ability and willingness to perform all duties as workload necessitates

Comunilife is a leader in the field of Latina adolescent suicide prevention. Our Life is Precious™ Program, which opened in 2008, provides non-clinical services to girls’ ages 12 to 17 in the Bronx, Brooklyn, Queens, Manhattan, Poughkeepsie, Yonkers, Hempstead, and Amsterdam. Activities include academic support, creative arts therapies, music lessons, wellness activities and concrete family services, are designed to reduce the risk factors associated with Latina adolescent suicide.
