Computershare Corporate Trust (CCT) is a division within Computershare responsible for providing trustee and sophisticated agency services for private and public companies, investment bankers, asset managers, government agencies and other financial institutions. 

A role you will love

The Business Negotiations Consultant IV is responsible for vetting feasibility of new transactions, relationship building with customers, contract review and negotiation for new business, summarizing requirements and presenting transactions for approval, closing transactions and collaborating with legal, account management onboarding teams.  The BNC IV may also be responsible for the oversight of other BNCs. 

Some of your key responsibilities may include: 

  • Review deal documents and actively participate in or manage deal negotiations and risk mitigation of complex securitization, debt issuance, mortgage portfolio and/or servicing administration transactions with investment banks, private equity firms, finance companies, mortgage companies, law firms, rating agencies and credit providers.
  • Ensure client satisfaction and retention by facilitating the resolution of significantly complex technical problems or general account service issues.
  • Typically, will have accountability for reviewing drafts of documents and making recommendations on deal terms, document language, pricing, etc; will have direct authority to sign deal documents. 
  • Independently complete various research and process definition projects. 
  • Significant interaction with sales force to provide process expertise for certain sales calls, meetings and presentations as needed.
  • Assist with vetting business opportunities, assessing appropriateness for the respective line of business within CCT.

 

What will you bring to the role? 

  • 10 years of Corporate Trust experience preferably in CLO. Good negotiation skills. Good verbal and written communication.  Excellent client rapport. 
  • Ability to read, understand and negotiate complex structured finance, agency and other transactional agreements
  • Ability to lead, manage, supervisor and/or train others, and assign workloads
  • Ability to multitask
  • Proficient with Word and Excel
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Internal interaction with Sales, Relationship Management teams, Legal teams, Middle Office, and Operations
  • External interaction with attorneys and client partners, which may include very senior positions

 

Rewards designed for you 

  • Compensation.  The base pay range for this role is $115,000 - $170,000. This base pay range is a national average and may not be applicable to all locations.
