Lead Security Engineer

Composio is hiring its first dedicated security leader to build the security function from the ground up on a fast-growing AI agent infrastructure platform. In this high-ownership role, you will define how the company protects cross-app workflows, maintains continuous compliance, and earns trust with enterprise customers—without slowing down engineering velocity.

What you'll do

• Build and continuously improve a full security program from scratch, covering detection, response, and prevention.
• Develop threat models that reflect the real risks of an integration platform orchestrating cross-app workflows at scale.
• Embed application security practices directly into the development lifecycle rather than bolting them on after the fact.
• Scale infrastructure security alongside Composio's fast-growing cloud platform.
• Maintain a continuous compliance posture for SOC2, GDPR, and future frameworks so the company is always audit-ready.
• Own the external security narrative and demonstrate Composio's trustworthiness to customers, partners, and the market.

What Composio is looking for

• A track record of scaling a security program through the early-stage journey and knowing what to prioritize.
