Tim Horton's Assistant Manager
About this role
Duties:
- Involved in all phases of operational planning including daily production .Will be responsible to lead the team in the shift by being inculcating a hands on approach
- Responsible for hiring, training, developing and leading a team of associates capable of providing great customer service. Must be open to learning and adopting the Tim's way of customer experience.
- You are accountable for staffing, Scheduling, Weekly Inventory, Daily update on of production and other logs which are mandatory requirements.
- To coordinate weekly calibration of all the beverage equipment with the Supervisors.
- Ensures strict compliance of Compass Quality Assurance and Health and Safety Programs.
Required: (please only apply if you meet all required qualifications):
- Proven supervisory or management experience in a branded retail foodservice setting (eg. Tim Horton's, Starbucks etc.)will be an added advantage
- Demonstrated ability to grow top line sales, monitor & minimize cost, reduce waste and manage efficient workflow.
- Proactively demonstrate the ability to recognize customer needs and market trends.
- Experience with branded concepts will be an added advantage
- Have strong management and leadership skills. Demonstrated ability to motivate and develop staff.
- Superior customer service skills and ability to train others
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills and focus on upselling products.
- Solid basic knowledge of computers - MS Office, POS Systems etc.
- Able to accommodate a flexible work schedule(Including Evenings, Weekends and Stat Holidays).
Asset:
- Advanced Food Safety Training (AFST) and First Aid is a Pre requisite and to be completed with 3 months of joining the unit.
