Vulcan currently has three open positions. 1. **CNC Laser Operator - Morning Shift:** This on-site role involves operating CNC laser machines. Key responsibilities include programming, setting up, and operating these machines; monitoring equipment; ensuring production quality; completing documentation; managing workload independently; and keeping machines clean. The working hours are Monday to Friday, 6 am – 2 pm. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years’ experience operating CNC laser or plasma machines (steel preferred), forklift experience (preferred), a full Class 1 driver’s licence with reliable transport, and the ability to work independently. A pre-employment medical and drug screen is part of the recruitment process. 2. **MR Driver:** This on-site position requires an experienced MR Driver and Storeperson to join the team. Responsibilities include local multi-drop deliveries, picking and packing orders, preparing delivery documents, and providing customer service. The standard working hours are Monday to Friday, 8 am - 4 pm. Applicants must hold an MR Licence and a Forklift licence and be physically fit for manual lifting. A pre-employment drug screen is required. 3. **Internal Sales Consultant:** This on-site, office-based role involves being the first point of contact for customers, working closely with internal teams and external partners. The Internal Sales Consultant will be responsible for selling stainless steel and aluminum products, processing sales inquiries, preparing quotes and orders, providing solutions, and delivering customer service. The roles at Vulcan utilize the following technologies: * **CNC Laser Operator:** CNC Laser Operation, Problem-Solving, Attention To Detail, Precision Machinery, Forklift Operation, Computer Literacy, Mechanical Skills, Reading Measurements, Heavy Lifting. * **MR Driver:** MR Licence, Forklift licence, Local multi-drop deliveries, Picking and packing, Preparing delivery documents, Customer service, Health and safety, Manual lifting. * **Internal Sales Consultant:** Customer Service, Sales, Attention To Detail, Computer Skills, Teamwork, Independence. All three listed positions are on-site. The CNC Laser Operator works Monday to Friday, from 6 am to 2 pm. The MR Driver's standard hours are Monday to Friday, 8 am - 4 pm.
