About the Role

We’re seeking a skilled and proactive laser machine operator with strong problem-solving abilities, keen attention to detail, and a passion for precision machinery. Working hours: Monday to Friday, 6am – 2pm.

What you’ll do:

  • Program, set up, and operate CNC laser machines
  • Monitor equipment performance and resolve operational issues
  • Ensure production quality and accuracy meet established standards
  • Complete documentation to an intermediate level of detail and accuracy
  • Work independently, managing your workload and meeting deadlines effectively
  • Keep machines clean and report any faults
  • Follow all Health & Safety rules and work safely
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience operating CNC laser or plasma machines, ideally in a manufacturing environment (steel preferred)
  • Forklift experience (preferred)
  • Full Class 1 driver’s licence with reliable transport
  • Proven ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
  • Basic to intermediate computer literacy
  • Overhead crane experience is a bonus
  • Good mechanical skills and attention to detail
  • Able to read measurements and drawings
  • Fit and strong – some heavy lifting involved
