Swiss AviationSoftware is currently hiring for three open positions: **1. System Operations Specialist (SysOps Specialist):** This role focuses on ensuring the smooth operation of IT systems and infrastructure. Key responsibilities include installing, managing, and administering the AMOS application. Tasks include database management (PostgreSQL, Patroni, Pgbackrest), daily systems monitoring, second and third-level technical support, customer support during implementation and daily operations, troubleshooting, performance tuning, and backup and recovery. Collaboration with offices in Basel and Singapore is also required. This position follows a hybrid remote policy. **2. IT System Specialist:** This role involves the installation, management, and administration of the AMOS application, including database administration (PostgreSQL). The IT System Specialist will conduct daily systems monitoring, provide second and third-level technical support, and offer customer support during implementation and operations. Additional duties include troubleshooting, performance tuning, and backup and recovery, all while supporting working principles such as continuous improvement. This position follows a hybrid remote policy. **3. Full Stack/All-round Software Engineer for In-house Tools Development:** This role involves collaborating with in-house stakeholders to understand requirements and develop solutions. The engineer will implement solutions within AMOS and stand-alone applications as a full-stack developer. This includes database backends (PostgreSQL, Oracle) and user frontends (Java/Swing, Vaadin/HTML/JavaScript). Additional responsibilities include designing, implementing, and troubleshooting interfaces with internal and external third-party systems, deploying and monitoring applications up to production, and working in agile development teams. This position follows a hybrid remote policy.
