One (1) year EMS experience preferred. * **ULTRASOUND TECH:** This is a full-time, on-site position located in Claxton, GA 30417. The Ultrasonographer is responsible for performing radiologic exams as ordered by the attending physician. Work assignments will require patient involvement with all age populations including neonates, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. * **Essential Responsibilities include:** Ensuring a valid physician's order has been received, transporting patients to the ultrasound room, verifying patient information, gaining patient cooperation, preparing the patient for procedures, wearing a dosimeter badge, protecting patients and employees by adhering to department and hospital safety and infection control policies, responding to adverse patient reactions, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality of patient exams, recording anatomical data, identifying and adapting procedures, producing quality sonograms, documenting responsibilities, responding to STAT orders, communicating with radiologists and physicians, participating in continuing education, reporting equipment malfunctions, maintaining a clean and safe environment, using supplies efficiently, presenting a professional image, and assisting with restocking supplies. * **Minimum Qualifications:** Graduation from an accredited medical sonographer program and current ARDMS registration.
