The qualifications include post-secondary education, a diploma/bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, or a related field, a minimum of 5 years of multi-unit management experience in foodservice, QSR, or franchise industry, a current Food Safety manager's card through an Accredited source (ServSafe), a proven track record of driving operational excellence, food safety and achieving financial results, strong leadership and interpersonal skills, excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, strong organizational skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, a valid driver’s license, and reliable transportation. * **Senior Administrative Assistant:** This on-site position reports to the Plant Manager at the Rhode Island Food Factory (263 Jenckes Hill Rd, Lincoln, RI 02865). The work schedule is Monday to Friday, 7:30 am - 4:00 pm. The role includes providing day-to-day general administrative support, ensuring the office runs efficiently, guiding and training the office team, following up on production and sample requests, ensuring proper staffing, working with customers to achieve customer service, minimizing out-of-stock, and working with the Plant Manager. Specific responsibilities include reviewing orders, data entry into JustFoods ERP, handling inquiries, basic administrative duties such as photocopying, faxing, and filing, sorting and inputting vendor invoices, assisting in the coordination of customer accounts, and acting as backup for the Customer Service/ Order Desk team. The hourly rate for this full-time role is $21.00. The qualifications include a minimum high school diploma, good knowledge of MS Office, accuracy and attention to detail, good organizational and multi-tasking abilities, good communication skills, and a ‘happy to help’ attitude. * **Food Processing Maintenance Manager:** This on-site role is located at the Chicago Food Factory (2136 S. Peoria St., Chicago, Illinois, 60608). Reporting to the Plant Manager, the Maintenance Manager will oversee maintenance and engineering functions within a food manufacturing facility. Responsibilities include overseeing the maintenance and repair of equipment and facilities, developing and implementing maintenance programs, ensuring compliance with regulations, identifying and implementing process improvements, utilizing data-driven approaches, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations, overseeing engineering projects, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget, staying updated on industry trends, and driving the adoption of new technologies. The qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or a related field), a minimum of 5 years of experience in engineering and maintenance within the food manufacturing industry, strong project management skills, excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, a proven track record of driving process improvements, knowledge of food safety standards, and an understanding of chilled food environments.
