AVB has three on-site positions available: * **Commercial Construction Intern:** This internship focuses on assisting the site Superintendent in maintaining a safe and organized job site and aiding Project Engineers with administrative tasks. Responsibilities include collaborating with subcontractors, assisting with project documentation in Procore, observing construction professionals, delivering architectural samples, coordinating meetings, and assisting with bid contact calls. * **Requirements:** High school diploma or GED, currently enrolled in a college or university program (preferably Construction Management or a similar field), and willingness to be trained and certified in telehandler operation. Construction experience is helpful but not required. OSHA certification is a plus. * **Front Desk & Accounting Support Staff:** This part-time position (16-18 hours/week, Thursdays and Fridays from 8:00 am - 5:00 pm) is responsible for providing essential office assistance, including answering and directing calls, greeting visitors, maintaining the reception area, handling mail, performing basic bookkeeping, and procuring supplies. * **Requirements:** High school diploma or equivalent, a minimum of 1 year experience in an administrative or clerical role. Business or accounting background preferred. * **Community Association & Development Coordinator:** This role supports homeowner association (HOA) management and land development activities. Responsibilities include serving as a liaison between homeowners, management companies, and vendors, reviewing annual budgets, maintaining records, negotiating contracts, attending meetings, ensuring community compliance, and facilitating architectural reviews. This role will also provide administrative support for land development projects. * **Requirements:** Associate or bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field preferred. Candidates with at least 2 years of experience in community or HOA management (or a related field) and a strong background in property management are preferred. Reliable transportation is required for travel between locations. The Front Desk & Accounting Support Staff position involves working in a well-lighted, temperature-controlled, and smoke-free environment. The Community Association & Development Coordinator role also includes regular physical inspections of properties, including walking on uneven terrain and/or construction sites, climbing stairs, and lifting to 20 pounds.
