Our team is committed to providing outstanding medical care while building lasting relationships with our clients and their pets. We're looking for a dedicated Veterinary Technician who enjoys working in a supportive environment and is passionate about making a difference every day.
What You'll Do
As a Veterinary Technician, you'll work closely with our veterinarians to provide exceptional patient care while supporting a wide variety of medical and surgical procedures.
Responsibilities include:
- Assisting veterinarians during examinations, treatments, and surgical procedures
- Obtaining patient histories and maintaining accurate medical records
- Collecting laboratory samples and performing in-house diagnostics
- Placing IV catheters and performing venipuncture
- Administering medications, vaccines, and treatments as directed
- Monitoring anesthesia and patient recovery
- Taking and processing digital radiographs
- Educating clients on preventative care, medications, and treatment plans
- Properly restraining patients while ensuring comfort and safety
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient treatment area
- Collaborating with the veterinary team to provide exceptional patient care
What We're Looking For
- Previous veterinary technician or veterinary assistant experience required
- CVT, LVT, or RVT credentials are welcomed but not required
- Strong patient handling and technical skills
- Surgical and anesthesia monitoring experience is a plus
- Excellent communication and client service skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Positive attitude and strong teamwork mentality
- Dependable, compassionate, and eager to learn
