About this role

 

Provide professional, efficient service at all times. Obtain relevant information and history from clients and maintain proper and complete medical charts. Ensure the safety of pets, clients and associates by utilizing safe restraining techniques. Ability to convert units of measure.

Comfortable with computer skills and have the ability to use medical software confidently as well as the use of Microsoft outlook, word and excel. Show willingness to get the job done with a (can do) attitude. Takes on additional responsibilities when extra jobs that need to be done.

Take appropriate steps to find solutions. Exhibits honesty, discretion, integrity with not only the clients but with their team members.

Willingness to work with others and collaborate when needed. Share important information with Doctors and other team members.

The ability to be confident around pets and clients. Ability to work long hours and be on your feet for long periods of time, including time in front of a computer.

Have the ability to tolerate work related stress and still perform duties of the tasks that have been assigned. Ability to stand, walk stoop, kneel ,crouch, and climb as well as (lift, carry or move) up to 50 pounds.

Associates are routinely exposed to a variety of pets that bite or scratch, you may be exposed to radiation, anesthesia, biological hazards and controlled substance medication.

Must be 18 or older. High School diploma or equivalent required.
