Job Description
- Greet clients in a professional and welcoming manner in person and by phone
- Address client inquiries and requests in a timely and consistent manner
- Effectively schedule appointments within parameters established by the hospital leadership team
- Record thorough and accurate information in client records, patient medical records, communication requests to medical staff, and appointment notes
- Receive and effectively process client requests for prescription medications, foods, and medical documentation
- Accurately process financial transactions through both the practice management software program and credit card systems
- Reconcile financial information as required throughout each shift
- Ensure that the reception area maintains a clean, professional and welcoming presentation
- Facilitate staff with cleaning of hospital and daily tasks when needed
Qualifications
- Good Communication Skills and detail oriented. Ability to multi-task
- Must be able to lift 35 - 40 pounds
- Must be friendly and ambitious.
- Flexibility with schedule and morning hours are a plus.
- Previous experience in veterinary or customer service a plus but willing to train the right candidate.
