About this role

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Develop, enhance, and maintain the iBank onboarding platform.
  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Support production and non-production environments, including incident, problem, and change management.
  • Investigate and resolve application defects, performance issues, and integration failures.
  • Coordinate deployments, releases, and post-release validations.
  • Collaborate with business, operations, compliance, and infrastructure teams.
  • Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement preventive actions.
  • Ensure application availability, security, and compliance with bank standards.
  • Prepare technical documentation, solution designs, and support runbooks.
  • Participate in CAB, DR, and audit/compliance activities.

Requirements

EXPERIENCE & ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum formal qualifications required as part of the job.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Science/Engineering
  • Master’s in Management/IT preferred
  • Relevant Industry Certification(s)
  • Industry Certification in Scrum/Agile/Project Management desirable
  • Proficiency in Angular, Java, JBoss, Spring Boot, ADO , Postman and Swagger is a must
  • Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience in Information Technology within Banking or Financial Services, with exposure to wholesale banking or client onboarding solutions.
  • Hands-on experience in designing, developing, testing, deploying, and supporting enterprise web applications and integrations.
  • Strong technical experience in Angular, Java, Spring Boot, APIs, databases, DevOps pipelines, and application monitoring tools.
  • Experience supporting production and non-production environments, including incident analysis, problem management, change management, RCA, and release coordination.
  • Experience working with Agile and waterfall delivery models, version control tools, CI/CD pipelines, and technical documentation practices.
  • Ability to mentor junior developers, conduct code reviews, troubleshoot complex issues, and collaborate with business, infrastructure, security, and cross-functional technology teams.
  • Knowledge of enterprise architecture standards, application security, regulatory compliance, DR activities, CAB processes, and audit support requirements.
