Weekend Caregiver – Friday-Sunday Day Shifts | Fort Worth, TX

Friday–Sunday | 7:00 AM–7:00 PM | $15.50–$17.00/Hour + Weekend Differential

Comfort Keepers is looking for a reliable and experienced caregiver to provide one-on-one support to a senior client in the Fort Worth area. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys building a consistent relationship with a client and is comfortable providing hands-on care and dementia support.

Consistent weekend availability is required for this position.

Schedule

• Friday: 7:00 AM–7:00 PM
• Saturday: 7:00 AM–7:00 PM
• Sunday: 7:00 AM–7:00 PM
• Candidates must be available for all three days

Pay & Benefits

• $15.50–$17.00 per hour based on experience and CNA certification
• Additional $1.50/hour weekend differential
• Paid training and orientation

What You'll Do

You will provide individualized care and companionship while helping the client remain safe and comfortable at home. Duties may include:

• Assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and other personal care needs
• Providing mobility and transfer assistance as needed
• Supporting daily routines and activities
• Preparing meals and assisting with feeding when necessary
• Providing medication reminders
• Performing light housekeeping and laundry
• Offering companionship and emotional support
• Following the client’s individualized Plan of Care
• Monitoring and communicating changes in the client’s condition or needs
• Providing appropriate support and redirection for dementia-related behaviors

What We're Looking For

• At least 1 year of professional senior caregiving experience
• Previous experience with dementia or Alzheimer’s care required
• Comfortable providing hands-on personal care
• CNA certification preferred but not required
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance
• Ability to safely lift at least 25 pounds as needed
• Calm and patient when managing challenging behaviors
• Dependable and able to commit to the scheduled Friday–Sunday shifts
• Strong communication skills and ability to respond to calls, texts, or emails from the care team
• Respectful of client privacy, dignity, and individual preferences
