Comfort Keepers is looking for a dependable and compassionate overnight caregiver to provide one-on-one care for a senior client. This position is ideal for someone who is attentive, comfortable working independently, and committed to keeping clients safe and comfortable throughout the night.

Schedule

  • Overnight 12-hour shifts
  • Consistent and dependable availability is required
  • Caregivers must be comfortable working independently during overnight hours

Pay & Benefits

  • $15.50–$17.00 per hour based on experience and CNA certification
  • Paid training and orientation

What You'll Do

Overnight caregivers help maintain a safe and comfortable environment while assisting with the client’s nighttime and morning routines. Responsibilities may include:

  • Providing overnight supervision and safety monitoring
  • Assisting with bedtime and morning routines
  • Helping with toileting and incontinence care as needed
  • Providing mobility and transfer assistance
  • Assisting with personal care needs
  • Responding appropriately to the client’s needs throughout the shift
  • Completing light housekeeping related to client care
  • Observing and documenting relevant changes in the client’s condition
  • Communicating concerns or important updates to the office team
  • Maintaining a calm, respectful, and comfortable environment

Qualifications

  • At least 1 year of professional caregiving experience through an agency, facility, or private-duty setting
  • Previous overnight caregiving experience is preferred
  • CNA certification preferred but not required
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Reliable transportation and current auto insurance
  • Ability to safely lift at least 25 pounds
  • Strong communication and observation skills
  • Dependable and able to remain attentive throughout overnight shifts
  • Comfortable working independently while following the client’s Plan of Care
