Position :Community Punch Technician / Community Punch Manager: Reports to Community Manager and Community Service Supervisor:
POSITION SUMMARY:
- The Community Punch Technician / Community Punch Manager is responsible for vacant apartment turn to include:
- Turnkey operations, punch items, preventative maintenance, and quality control of outside contractors.
- Schedule vendors to complete turnkey operations.
- Ensure timely completion of vacant unit turns.
- Guide community management staff on maintenance-related issues as needed.
- Resolve complex issues as it relates to maintenance work orders.
- Must be hands-on; assist in the completion of work orders.
- Identify areas in need of improvement and make recommendations.
- Must demonstrate the ability to handle multiple projects, able to prioritize, and meet deadlines.
- Various tasks as it relates to maintenance operations.
- Weekend work required.
- Will be in rotation for On-Call Duty.
Job Requirements:
- HS Diploma, GED, or equivalent. Technical school preferred but not required.
- Minimum 1-year previous maintenance experience.
- Must have own tools.
- Must maintain a reliable vehicle.
- Must have strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Working Conditions:
- Must be able to work in all types of weather conditions for extended periods.
