About the Role:
We’re looking for a highly organized, execution-focused contract Events Marketing Manager to support our event program during a critical growth period.
This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives in startup environments and understands how events drive credibility, pipeline, and partnerships in healthcare. You’ll partner closely with our Senior Events Marketing Manager to support industry conferences, hosted executive events, regional field events and partner activations.
We’re looking for someone who can ramp quickly, operate independently, and execute flawlessly, particularly in environments that involve healthcare providers, health systems, enterprise buyers, or regulated settings.
How You'll Contribute:
Plan and execute assigned events end-to-end, including healthcare industry conferences, trade shows, executive dinners, field events, and partner activations.
Build and manage timelines, project plans, and run-of-show documents.
Coordinate logistics including venues, vendors, shipping, booth builds, registration, travel, and on-site staffing.
Lead on-site executions where needed and troubleshoot in real time with remote people as needed (this may be outside of standard office hours)
Translate event goals (pipeline generation, brand credibility, partner visibility) into detailed plans and execution.
Partner closely with Sales, Partnerships, Customer Success and Marketing to align on meeting scheduling, lead capture, and on-site engagement strategy.
Ensure event messaging resonates with target audiences, including total rewards leaders, health plans, employers, and enterprise stakeholders.
Proactively identify risks, recommend solutions, and maintain strong communication across teams
Own day-to-day coordination with venues, agencies, production vendors, execution fulfillment, and conference organizers.
Track event budgets carefully and flag variances early.
Support contract management, invoice processing, and documentation.
Maintain high-quality execution while operating within startup budget constraints.
Ensure proper lead capture and CRM processes are followed at events.
Gather post-event metrics including attendance, meetings held, engagement, and pipeline influence and partner with the demand gen team to report on these activities.
Contribute to recap reports with insights and recommendations.
Help document repeatable processes as we scale our healthcare event program.
Our Ideal Candidate Will Have:
3–5+ years of event marketing, field marketing, or experiential marketing experience.
Experience executing industry conferences or trade shows in healthcare, health tech, SaaS, or other enterprise B2B environments.
Proven ability to independently run events from concept to completion.
Strong understanding of how events support longer enterprise sales cycles.
Excellent project management skills and attention to detail.
Calm, solution-oriented, and decisive under pressure with excellent judgement
Comfortable operating in ambiguity and fast-changing startup environments.
Strong communicator who builds trust across Marketing, Sales, and Partnerships.
Nice to Have:
Experience engaging benefits and employer HR stakeholders.
Familiarity with compliance-conscious or regulated industries.
Experience with CRM systems and event attribution tracking.
Experience with tools like Asana and Exhibit Force

Sales and Partnerships teams feel fully supported on-site.
Leads and meeting data are captured accurately and follow-up is enabled.

Hourly Rate: $45-50
The actual hourly pay is dependent upon many factors, such as work experience, market data, skills, and geographic location.
