About this role
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Manufacturing Management - Manpower complement with the right set of skills is met to efficiently operate all sections at chemical refining in order to meet monthly volume targets.
- Productivity and Process Improvement - Lead the implementation of productivity improvement projects, as well as cost savings initiatives in the various areas of chemical refining
- Environmental, Health and Safety - Lead the investigation of near-hits and incidents and ensuring that these are reported and commitment dates for closure of the actions are followed.
- Documentation and Quality - Safeguards product quality through careful execution of the PSM and WI, observation of process conditions and timely correction of any deviations. Ensures all data, observations, and actions are properly recorded to support quality, traceability, and compliance.
Personnel Relations - Contribute to positive personnel relations by maintaining effective communication and cooperation with coworkers to support smooth and efficient plant operations.
Education & Experience
- Graduate of any Engineering Discipline, preferably Metallurgical or Chemical Engineering
- 3-5 years of experience as Production Supervisor
- Experience in chemical manufacturing set-up is a plus
- Proficiency in manufacturing systems, process control technologies and production reporting tools

Working Conditions
- 100% Onsite
- Working condition are normal for a chemical manufacturing environment.
- Work may involve lifting of materials and product up to 25 kg.
- Working in this environment requires the use of safety equipment and personnel protection equipment to include but not limited to; safety glasses, hearing protectors, safety shoes/boots and hardhats.
