Job Responsibilities

Supervise and train a team of inventory associates, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and company procedures.
Oversee daily inventory activities, including receiving, storing, picking, and issuing materials to production lines.
Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventories, investigating discrepancies and implementing corrective actions.
Monitor inventory levels, identify potential shortages or overages, and communicate proactively with planning and procurement teams.
Operate and maintain material handling equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) safely and efficiently.
Implement and maintain 5S principles within the inventory cell to ensure a clean, organized, and efficient workspace.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (production, quality, shipping) to optimize material flow and resolve inventory-related issues.
Ensure accurate data entry into the company's ERP system for all inventory transactions.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing efforts.

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's diploma in a related field preferred.
3+ years of experience in inventory control or warehouse operations, with at least 1 year in a lead role.
Proficiency in using ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to operate a forklift and other material handling equipment (certification preferred).
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds regularly.
