Job Description
MISSION :
The role supports the Country Manager, Head of Commercial, and commercial teams by coordinating commercial operations, reporting, client administration, marketing initiatives, and project implementation. It plays a key role in ensuring smooth commercial processes, effective sales support, and alignment with regional initiatives.
The position also helps monitor commercial performance, support lead generation activities, coordinate IT and operational improvements, and liaise with internal teams on risk monitoring and claims-related matters. Overall, the role enables the commercial team to operate efficiently, deliver on business targets, and provide strong service to clients and partners.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
Operational Support:
- Provide data, statistics, KPIs and reports to Country Manager, regional office and commercial staff about business development, portfolio management, sales activities.
- Create reports for the Country and Region.
- Monitor the commercial activities and alert when necessary. Management of selling process
- Ensure processes and rules are followed by commercial staff.
- Support the country to implement new guidelines, rules, IT systems and products which suits local market requirements.
- Deal with all internal inbound inquiries from Commercial teams, Risk teams and other departments where necessary.
- Run local PMO and provide reporting to region on progress on all projects. Verify strategic initiatives and challenges the validity of projects in the country
- Ensure all operational task are attended to (in coordination with Account Manager) on time, i.e. billing, TOD, collection.
Client control:
- Ensure that customers’ processes are well followed.
- Execute all tasks that enable policies to be properly run from an IT, contractual and invoicing point of view including checking of policy terms and conditions, ensure policies and renewals are signed on time, invoices, monitoring fees and turnover declaration are booked in correctly which matches partners' records and also ensure that premium and fees are paid according to schedule.
Front Office Support:
- Respond promptly and effectively to client requests and ensure that the appropriate action is taken.
- Deal with out-bound communication as required by the company to all the necessary parties, internal or external.
- Provide assistance to team members whenever required.
- Manage clients and partners’ expectations to a high standard, including high level of customer satisfaction as measured by feedback surveys.
Commercial system implementation:
- Be a key entry point with customer business and IT teams for implementing IT solutions with Coface products.
- Support clients’ technical teams in launching new Coface technical IT solutions in relation with our Coface Support Teams.
Management and Support of Partners and Intermediaries:
- Administration of partners and intermediaries’ master data.
- Reinsurance agreements.
- Operation/functional management and support of IT that is used by or impacts intermediaries.
- Timely reconciliation and settlement SOA
Risk & Compliance:
- Adhere to compliance standards as set by Coface and Financial Regulators.
Marketing:
- Coordinate with regional office to launch new offerings which suits the local market requirement
Support Sales Managers to implement initiatives to drive leads generation
Qualifications
- Degree educated in Finance, Business Administration, Operations, Project/Lean/Agile management, Banking or equivalent.
- At least 5 year of sales/underwriting/operations experience ideally within a credit insurance, general insurance, banking or factoring organization.
- Demonstrates strategic thinking, planning, initiative and execution
- Multicultural/international corporate environment: previous experience will be a plus
