SERVER ASSISTANT - LBV

SUMMARY:

Willingness to provide friendly service support to front servers while still maintaining precise and coordinated team responsibilities with the other back servers.

             ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for clearing off tables

Resetting tables 

Stocking dinnerware 

Pouring water

Delivering bread and butter and any necessary food items

• Replenishing soda bag in a box and polishing silverware

Responsible for the service, organization, cleanliness and guest satisfaction of their assigned area. 

Will assist the Front Server when needed.

• All other duties as assigned.

             EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS/REQUIREMENTS:

             Must have excellent communication skills, be polite and present a neat appearance. Must also be able to stand lift 25 lbs. many times throughout a shift and be able to work rotational shifts. Must also provide                          friendly, prompt, knowledgeable, upscale service consistently to guests. A Back Server's position requires a variety of skills including but not limited to excellent organizational skills, communication skills, physical                    stamina, enthusiasm, courtesy, sincerity, initiative and persistence. Must have worked in a full service restaurant as a bus person or serve for one year.

Must be able to stand/walk/ sit for extended periods. May be exposed to working in a noisy, smoke/secondary

smoke environment.

Must be at least 21. Must be able to obtain and maintain appropriate licensing. Must be able to pass a background investigation.

             EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: High School Diploma or equivalent.
