About this role
Key Areas of Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain full stack applications using React, Java, and Spring Boot.
- Build and support RESTful APIs and backend services.
- Design, write, and maintain queries for PostgreSQL and other SQL-based data requirements.
- Work with business users, product teams, analysts, and developers to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions.
- Develop frontend features, reusable components, and user interfaces using React.
- Containerise and support applications using Docker.
- Use GitHub for source control, collaboration, code reviews, and development workflows.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues across the frontend, backend, database, and deployment layers.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.
- Contribute to technical documentation, development standards, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Familiarity with Spring Data JPA, Hibernate, or similar persistence frameworks.
- Experience writing unit and integration tests.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and cloud or Linux-based environments.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s / Master’s degree or above in Computer Science or related discipline
- Minimum 2-5 years of relevant experience in developing and maintaining Java based applications/solutions.
- Strong analytical and quantitative / interpersonal / problem-solving skills
- able to work independently / attention to details / result-driven/ self-motivated / enthusiastic
- Excellent command of / fluent in both spoken and written English.
