About this role

Key Areas of Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with front office to formulate business proposals for new products & business activities
  • Organize new product approval meetings and assist in the management of follow-up actions
  • Oversee completion of risk assessments and approvals for new products & business activities
  • Work with front office to develop project plans, deliverables, and success criteria
  • Monitor implementation of new products & business activities to ensure that project deliverables satisfy pre-launch requirements stipulated by the New Product Approval Group
  • Facilitate cross-functional consensus on approaches to mitigate project risks / solutions to address project issues
  • Communicate initiative statuses to stakeholders and senior managers, identifying any risks / issues
  • Liaise with Head Office on matters related to new products & business activities
  • Provide guidance on NPA framework, promoting close collaboration and continuous improvement
  • Coordinate post-launch periodic reviews of new products & business activities, as necessary
  • Familiar with Operation Risk framework and management . Assisting in the investigation of significant operational and technology risk events (including events with financial impact, reputational impact, or regulatory impact) etc.
  • Assisting in preparing key risk indicator reports and relevant work of CSOX, BCP, EUC etc.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance or a related field.
  • At least 5-8 years of experience in managing projects of varying size and complexity. PMI certification or other relevant credentials will be an advantage.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to influence various teams across the organization and address complex issues in a timely manner.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present ideas clearly and persuasively to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong business acumen, with a good understanding of business strategies and ability to align initiatives to broader business objectives.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities concurrently, and meet tight deadlines.
  • Mandarin Chinese written and verbal communication skills will be preferred.
