Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled L2 Cybersecurity Technical & Presales Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in security solutions and customer-facing capabilities. The role involves understanding client requirements, recommending appropriate cybersecurity solutions, supporting presales activities, and implementing security tools across enterprise environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Technical Responsibilities:
- Deploy and configure cybersecurity tools such as EDR, XDR, and SIEM solutions
- Perform requirement gathering and security gap analysis
- Implement security policies, log onboarding, and rule configuration
- Support POC and pilot implementations
- Provide post-deployment support, tuning, and optimization
- Conduct system health checks and performance improvements
- Perform vulnerability assessments and basic security analysis
Presales Responsibilities:
- Understand client IT environments (infrastructure, endpoints, servers, cloud)
- Recommend suitable cybersecurity solutions in coordination with OEMs
- Participate in client meetings and technical discussions
- Support solution design including HLD/LLD
- Assist in BOQ preparation and solution sizing
- Conduct product demonstrations and technical presentations
- Deliver security awareness sessions
Training & Documentation:
- Provide product training to customer SOC and IT teams
- Prepare deployment documentation and user guides
- Create technical presentations and implementation reports
- Conduct knowledge transfer (KT) sessions
Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of EDR, XDR, and SIEM concepts
- Hands-on experience with tools like CrowdStrike, Zscaler, Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel, or similar
- Understanding of networking fundamentals, routing, and firewalls
- Knowledge of Windows and Linux security and hardening
- Experience in log analysis, correlation, and incident investigation
- Familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK framework
- Basic scripting skills (PowerShell or Python preferred)
Soft Skills & Certifications:
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Experience in customer interaction and stakeholder management
- Ability to coordinate with OEM/vendor teams
- Strong documentation and reporting skills
- Ability to work independently in client environments
- Certifications such as CEH, CompTIA Security+, or relevant vendor certifications preferred
