With a team of over 90 people, we publish 13 magazines spanning the automotive, aerospace, marine, meteorological and logistics sectors, and we're proud to deliver world-class events and publications to specialist audiences globally. WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

We're looking for an experienced Media Sales Executive to join our publishing team and manage key accounts across two of our flagship titles: Automotive Powertrain Technology International and PMW. You'll be a confident relationship builder with a genuine interest in the automotive engineering and motorsport sectors, and you'll thrive in a role that balances account management with new business development (around 30% of your time).

This is a full-time, permanent role based in Dorking, with at least three days a week in the office.

THE ROLE:

  • Generating digital and print advertising revenues across Automotive Powertrain Technology International and PMW

  • Hitting and exceeding agreed sales targets

  • Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities through proactive prospecting and lead generation

  • Building and developing strong relationships with an existing client base, understanding their advertising goals and delivering tailored solutions

  • Preparing high-quality proposals and client correspondence

  • Attending relevant industry events for networking and lead generation, as well as UKi's own events where relevant

ABOUT YOU:

  • Experience in B2B media sales, ideally with a background in print and digital advertising — though candidates with strong transferable skills are encouraged to apply

  • A commercially driven mindset with the ability to identify opportunities and close deals

  • Confident prospecting and lead research skills, with a proactive approach to building your pipeline

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills , you write persuasive pitches and build trust quickly with international clients

  • Highly organised, able to manage multiple accounts and priorities without dropping the ball

  • Comfortable with digital analytics and using data to shape campaign recommendations

  • Proficient in Salesforce (or keen to get there fast) and open to adopting new tools and platforms

  • A collaborative team player who also knows how to drive things forward independently

  • Curious about the automotive and motorsport industries and motivated to deepen your knowledge over time

  • Happy to travel to events and represent the publications in person
