Interior Designer
  • Design Conceptualization:
    • Create unique interior design concepts that meet client needs and expectations.
    • Develop mood boards and visual presentations to communicate design ideas effectively.
  • Space Planning:
    • Conduct spatial assessments and develop layout plans to maximize functionality.
    • Ensure optimal flow and utilization of spaces, adhering to safety and building codes.
  • Material Selection:
    • Research and source materials, furnishings, and finishes that align with the design vision.
    • Provide clients with material samples and specifications.
  • Client Collaboration:
    • Meet with clients to discuss their preferences, budget, and objectives.
    • Maintain clear communication throughout the design process.
  • Budget Management:
    • Create and manage project budgets, ensuring designs are within financial constraints.
    • Prepare cost estimates and facilitate negotiations with suppliers.
  • Project Management:
    • Oversee the execution of design projects from concept to completion.
    • Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and other professionals on-site.
  • Regulatory Compliance:
    • Stay informed about local building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.
    • Ensure all designs comply with relevant regulations and guidelines.
  • Post-Completion Follow-up:
    • Conduct site visits post-completion to ensure client satisfaction.
    • Address any issues that arise after project completion.
    Educational Background
    • Minimum: Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
    • Professional Experience
      • 3-5 years of interior design experience, managing projects from concept to completion. Skilled in creating mood boards, color schemes, materials, and finishes.
    • Licenses & Certifications
      • Licensure or certification by a recognized board is preferred.
    • Technical Skills
      • Proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Corona, Revit (BIM preferred), 3ds Max.
      • Strong understanding of materials and fabrics used in interior design.
