Your Role
Clarius is seeking a Sonography Specialist to contribute to a special project aimed at expanding access to ultrasound technology and supporting our next-generation innovations.
In this role, you’ll contribute to research initiatives related to diagnostic ultrasound. You’ll support project scoping, data collection, and image analysis, and occasionally assist with clinical procedures. Working closely with engineers, researchers, and fellow clinicians, you’ll help advance new methods of ultrasound imaging that have the potential to impact healthcare delivery around the world.
This is a two-year contract through September 2028, with a strong possibility of extension or transition to a permanent position depending on project milestones.
Your Responsibilities Include:
- Label anatomy and assess image quality across a variety of ultrasound use cases, including MSK, aesthetics, abdominal, pelvic, obstetrical, cardiac, vascular, and small parts.
- Occasionally perform point-of-care ultrasound exams on volunteer patients.
- Test early beta versions of Clarius products and provide structured feedback to help improve usability and performance.
- Collaborate with R&D and clinical teams on ongoing projects and contribute to overall research outcomes.
- Help define and manage small research projects focused on improving the user experience and diagnostic value of our products.
- Support additional R&D activities as needed.
Your Experience so Far:
- Completion of a recognized Diagnostic Medical Sonography training program with 3+ years of clinical experience.
- Comprehensive knowledge of theory and practice of diagnostic medical sonography.
- Experience in General Ultrasound is mandatory.
- Knowledgeable in MSK and Aesthetics ultrasound.
- Cardiac, Obstetrics, Vet and point-of-care ultrasound is an asset.
- Basic computer skills and access to a reliable internet connection.
- Ability to work independently and in collaboration with others.
- Self-starter, quick-learning, and self-motivated.
Location and Compensation:
This is a remote position open to candidates based in Canada. Fixed-term contract: 2 year, through September 2028, with the possibility of extension or transition to permanent.
Salary range: $75,000–$90,000 CAD per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

Requirements
- A graduate of a recognized training program in Diagnostic Medical Sonography, with a minimum of 3 years of clinical experience.
- Comprehensive knowledge of theory and practice of diagnostic medical sonography.
- Experience in General Ultrasound is mandatory.
