Right now, we are looking for a Systems Administrator Linux for a
client on our Talent Team.
Your responsibilities include:
- Administer, maintain, and support
enterprise Linux environments, including RHEL, Oracle Linux, and Rocky Linux.
- Manage and troubleshoot Windows
Server systems as required.
- Monitor, maintain, and optimize
operating systems, infrastructure services, and business-critical applications.
- Deploy, configure, and support
infrastructure components across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments.
- Automate operational processes and
routine tasks using scripting and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as
Bash, Terraform, Ansible, and PowerShell.
You must have:
- Strong hands-on experience in Linux
system administration (enterprise distributions such as RHEL, Oracle Linux,
Rocky).
- Windows Server knowledge as a
complementary skill.
- Solid understanding of operating
system fundamentals, including command line usage, process management, file
systems, permissions, and OS-level troubleshooting.
- Experience in building, deploying,
and maintaining infrastructure services and applications running on top of
operating systems.
- Experience with scripting and
automation (hands-on Bash/Shell, Terraform, Ansible, PowerShell, etc.).
- Experience using version control
systems such as Git (e.g., GitHub or GitLab), following good collaboration and
code management practices.
- Good understanding of
infrastructure-related domains such as storage, virtualization, networking
concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S, firewalls, DNS, AD.
- Familiarity with cloud computing
concepts (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) and working knowledge of at least one major cloud
provider (GCP, Azure, AWS).
- Strong troubleshooting skills,
including incident analysis, root cause identification, and implementation of
corrective and preventive measures.
- Ability to work closely with
cross-functional teams, including architects, project managers, and other
technical stakeholders.
- Proactive mindset with a strong
focus on automation, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement.
- Participate in on-call rotations
(but there shouldn’t be a lot of work since you will work to automate
everything!)
