Right now, we are
looking for a Senior Network & Cloud Security Engineer to integrate our
internal team, based in Lisbon or Porto.
Your responsibilities
include:
- Design, implement, and manage network architectures in on-premises, Azure, and hybrid environments;
- Work with Azure components such as:
- Ensure secure connectivity between data centers, offices, cloud platforms, and enterprise systems;
- Implement Zero Trust principles, network segmentation, and least privilege;
- Manage firewalls, VPNs, security policies, and traffic protection mechanisms;
- Monitor the availability, performance, and security of the infrastructure;
- Investigate and resolve network and security incidents, identifying the root cause;
- Collaborate with Cloud, Infrastructure, Security Operations, and Operations teams;
- Contribute to the automation, documentation, and continuous improvement of environments;
- Support migration, transformation, and technology modernization projects.
You must have:
- Solid experience in Network Engineering, Cloud Networking, or Network Security;
- Advanced experience with Microsoft Azure Networking;
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, switching, DNS, BGP, NAT, IPsec, VPN, and TLS;
- Experience with enterprise firewalls and network security policies;
- Knowledge of hardening, access control, and infrastructure security;
- Ability to troubleshoot in complex and distributed environments;
- Experience with scripting or automation, preferably PowerShell, Python, or equivalent;
- Good knowledge of technical English;
- Ability to work independently, a sense of responsibility, and a focus on problem-solving.
We value:
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform, specifically VPC, Cloud VPN, Cloud Interconnect, Cloud Load Balancing, and Cloud DNS;
- Knowledge of Terraform, Bicep, ARM Templates, or other Infrastructure as Code tools;
- Experience with Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto, Check Point, or equivalent solutions;
- Knowledge of Kubernetes Networking, SD-WAN, SASE/SSE, or SIEM/SOAR;
- Certifications such as Azure Network Engineer Associate, Azure Security Engineer Associate, CCNP, or Google Cloud Professional Cloud Network Engineer;
- Experience in regulated environments or those with high security and availability requirements.
