Right now, we are looking for a Database Administrator for a client on our Talent Team.

 


Your responsibilities include:
  • Administer, monitor, and optimize database environments across multiple technologies;
  • Manage database clusters, replication mechanisms, and high-availability solutions;
  • Design, implement, and maintain data warehouses;
  • Develop reports, dashboards, and analytics solutions using Power BI and MicroStrategy;
  • Support and optimize Power BI Reporting Services environments;
  • Implement backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies for databases;
  • Monitor database performance and identify areas for improvement;
  • Develop and apply performance tuning measures to ensure system efficiency and reliability;
  • Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and business teams to support data-related initiatives;
  • Ensure database security, integrity, and compliance with best practices.


You must have:
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field (Mandatory); 
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in database administration, including MySQL, SQL Server, Oracle, MongoDB, and PostgreSQL;
  • Experience managing database clusters and replication mechanisms;
  • Professional experience with DevOps tools;
  • Experience with Azure, MongoDB, Oracle, and Power BI Reporting Services;
  • Experience with MicroStrategy;
  • Experience designing and configuring data warehouses;
  • Experience creating reports and dashboards in Power BI;
  • Experience managing database backup and restore policies and tools;
  • Experience creating and using performance analysis tools and implementing performance improvement measures.
