About this role

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Help maintain, troubleshoot, repair electric chain hoist, hand operated hoist, power distribution systems and assemble power distribution products under supervision of the department lead.

 

QUALIFICATIONS/ REQUIREMENTS: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required to perform the essential functions of this job under direct supervision of the Motor Department Lead.

 

  • Familiarity with soldering, use of a multimeter and use of standard tools
  • Attention to detail with a strong emphasis on accuracy to ensure production at expected quality and quantity levels.
  • Basic knowledge of mechanical systems.
  • Ability to perform general assembly techniques.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with employees.
  • Basic knowledge of computers.
  • Basic knowledge of 3 phase electrical systems.
  • Lifting and physical labor is required.
  • Ability to read basic wiring diagrams.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

  • High school diploma.
  • Tech school
  • Some experience working with electrical equipment.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

  • Check, maintain, troubleshoot, repair electric chain hoist, hand operated hoist and power distribution systems used in a demanding market.
  • Follow procedures and diagrams to ensure product specifications and tolerance levels are met.
  • Operate test equipment when needed.
  • Required to solder and de-solder wires and electronic components.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of regulations and safety policies to ensure duties are performed in a safe manner.
  • Perform other duties or projects as assigned.
