About this role

The Regulatory Model Production, Implementation and Monitoring – Analyst II is a professional role responsible for supporting the deployment, production, monitoring, validation, audit and governance, documentation, stakeholder management and ongoing performance management of loss forecasting risk models and analytical frameworks. The role applies to programming skills, and quantitative and analytical techniques to support risk management objectives while ensuring compliance with internal policies, regulatory expectations, and Model Risk Management (MRM) standards.

The individual works independently on most assignments, solving moderately complex and time-sensitive problems through analytical expertise, sound professional judgment, and collaboration with stakeholders across Risk Management, Model Development, Technology, Model Validation, Audit, Governance, and Business teams. The role requires attention to detail, strong technical capabilities, and the ability to communicate complex analytical concepts effectively to technical and non-technical audiences.

This position supports models used for regulatory stress testing, portfolio risk management, credit loss forecasting, and business decision-making, while contributing to the overall effectiveness of model governance, controls, and risk management across more than 22 key portfolios covering products like Cards, PIL, Mortgage, Ready Credit and supporting essential regulatory usages like CCAR, CECL, GSST, RST, BOP, PRAP, Climate Risk.

The role operates within a highly collaborative global environment and requires close partnership with stakeholders, leaders, and team members located across multiple geographies. Successful execution of responsibilities requires effective coordination and flexibility in supporting critical business, regulatory, production, and implementation activities. As part of supporting a global operating model, the role occasionally requires work outside standard business hours, including weekends and public holidays, to manage workload peaks and time-sensitive deliverables.

Key Responsibilities

Model Implementation, Production, Execution and Monitoring

  • As team operates in Regulatory space, timely delivery of assigned tasks with the highest quality is must.

  • Partner with model development teams to obtain, validate, test, and implement model code within controlled production environments.

  • Support deployment, production releases, and model Production activities.

  • Execute production processes while ensuring accuracy, completeness, timeliness, and adherence to governance standards.

  • Develop and maintain automated production workflows, controls, and reporting solutions to improve efficiency and reduce operational risk.

  • Manage implementation-related activities and ensure production readiness for model releases and enhancements.

  • Identify performance issues, control gaps and escalate in time.

  • Apply sound risk and control principles when performing analytical activities.

  • Analyze model outputs and identify key drivers to observe performance trends and forecast changes.

  • Explain model results and analytical findings to business stakeholders, risk managers, and model development teams.

  • Support Risk Management programs, governance frameworks, policies, and controls.

Stress Testing & Forecasting Support

  • Support the execution, monitoring, and governance of regulatory and business forecasting models, including CCAR, DFAST, ICAAP, CECL and other stress-testing frameworks where applicable.

  • Download, validate, transform, and process data required for model production and forecasting exercises.

  • Ensure timely delivery of model outputs and analytics supporting business, regulatory, and management requirements.

Governance, Regulatory & Documentation Support

  • Conduct formal model reviews in accordance with Model Risk Management standards and governance requirements.

  • Support responses to Model Risk Management, Internal Audit, Regulatory, and Governance inquiries.

  • Maintain comprehensive documentation covering model implementation, monitoring, controls, testing results, assumptions, quality assurance activities, and production processes.

  • Ensure compliance with applicable policies, procedures, laws, regulations, and supervisory expectations.

  • Create and maintain documentation required for internal oversight and regulatory submissions.

Stakeholder Engagement & Global Collaboration

  • Partner with business stakeholders, Risk Management, Model Development, Technology, Model Validation, Governance, and Operations teams to support end-to-end model lifecycle activities.

  • Effectively manage the challenges associated with a global operating model, including coordination across multiple time zones and ensuring timely delivery of critical commitments.

  • Build effective working relationships with stakeholders, leaders, and team members across multiple functions, businesses, and geographic regions.

  • Coordinate activities across globally distributed teams to support the successful delivery of production runs, monitoring reviews, model implementations, and regulatory commitments.

  • Communicate complex analytical findings, implementation updates, model performance observations, and risk assessments to both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives and support projects that enhance model governance, monitoring, and operational efficiency.

Qualifications
Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Finance, Computer Science, Engineering, Operations Research, or another quantitative discipline required.

  • Master's degree preferred.

Experience

  • 2+ years of experience in risk analytics, model validation, model monitoring, model implementation, quantitative analytics, or related disciplines.

  • Experience supporting model production, stress testing, forecasting models, model governance, or regulatory frameworks preferred.

Technical Skills

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and quantitative reasoning skills.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and/or other analytical tools.

  • Demonstrated programming skills in SAS, Python, R, SQL, or similar analytical platforms.

  • Working knowledge of statistical and predictive modeling techniques, including regression, time series analysis, segmentation, and decision trees.

  • Knowledge of tools like Python, Agentic AI is desirable.

  • Familiarity with automation, reporting, visualization tools, and data management processes is preferred.
