Join our team as a Manufacturing Operations Supply Project Manager, responsible for overseeing end-to-end PCBA supply operations with Contract Manufacturers. The selected candidate will assume full ownership in driving PCBA supply continuity to meet global demand while achieving organizational goals and KPIs. This role is ideal for professionals with extensive experience in materials management and Contract Manufacturer engagement; knowledge of production planning will be an added advantage. Your Impact
This position is accountable for managing all supply operations deliverables to ensure alignment with organizational goals. The scope of responsibilities spans end-to-end material management, including material shortage management, clear-to-build readiness, PCBA supply commits and accuracy, and on-time PCBA delivery to direct fulfilment sites. Additional responsibilities include inventory management, excess and obsolete control, engineering change management, Non-Material Spend (NMS) oversight, product transfers, contract manufacturer audits, and other related operational activities.
Material pipeline management: Ensure CM pipelines material per Cisco demand at component lead time.
Clear-to-build oversight: Manage CTB process with CM, maintaining visibility on material readiness and critical components gating CTB.
Quarterly build plan: Accountable for achieving quarterly build targets across assigned product families.
Execution excellence: Drive flawless execution and timely due diligence by CM in material management.
Escalation and allocation: Escalate gating components with CSP/GSM after CM due diligence; collaborate with PPF and CSP for allocation in cases of global shortages.
SCR Commit: Drive CM commit to Cisco demand, ensuring maximized CTB in their commits.
CM Performance management: Drive CM performance against key metrics (SCR Coverage, SCR Accuracy, Build Target Coverage, OTC, Delivery to CT2R, Inventory Commit).
Capacity management: Collaborate with CM and cross-functional teams to right-size capacity and maintain utilization below thresholds, ensuring flexibility for demand upside per contractual terms.
Inventory optimization: Collaborate with CM, Inventory Team, PPF, GHub, and CSP/GSM teams to optimize inventory and support Cisco initiatives.
Excess material management: Address excess material caused by demand reductions, engineering change, product EOL, or other factors by working with CM, PPF, Inventory Team, Service Depot Team to site balance, buybacks, re-ID/re-program, scrap, etc.
Engineering change management: Drive ECO management with CM, ensure proper LECO implementation scheduling, ensure supply continuity and smooth transitions between old and new parts without line down/excess surprises.
Product transfer support: Drive material for product qualification, manage qualification builds, manage mass production ramp, manage PO swap and excess material transfers.
Lead time and build priorities: Partner with PPF team to support product lead time goals, build targets, and build priorities.
Cost management: Manage E&O disposition, BAAO setup, NMS, PPV, OT cost.
NPI transition: Ensure smooth transition from NPI to sustaining.
Central initiatives: Collaborate with central material organization to deploy or adopt new tools/processes.
CM audit: Participate in annual business operations audit at the CM; covering BOM, Planning, Procurement, Inventory Management and Warehousing.
Minimum Qualifications
Minimum 8–10 years of experience in Materials Management
Working knowledge with planning/ERP systems, including Kinaxis, SAP, Oracle, or equivalent platforms
Strong Contract Manufacturer (CM) management skills, with proven ability to drive performance and collaboration
Excellent problem solving and analytical skills, with strong attention to detail
Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders across global regions
