Role Summary:
The Financial Systems Support role supports the configuration, maintenance, reporting, and integration functions of the Workday Financials platform. This role plays a key part in ensuring system reliability, data accuracy, and operational excellence across finance operations. The analyst collaborates with Finance, Accounting, and Backoffice IT teams to troubleshoot issues, optimize processes, and support the broader financial systems roadmap, including integration continuity and system expansion.Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update business processes, validations, and security roles within Workday Financials.
- Build and maintain financial reports and dashboards using Workday reporting tools.
- Troubleshoot system issues and provide responsive support to end users.
- Participate in testing for upgrades, enhancements, and new implementations.
- Document system configurations, processes, and user guides to support knowledge sharing.
- Support training efforts for Finance, Accounting, and other business users.
- Monitor and resolve integration issues between Workday Financials and related systems.
- Assist in maintaining the Financial Systems Knowledge Base, including integration inventories and runbooks.
- Analyze financial system data to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for process improvement.
- Collaborate with IT and external vendors to support system enhancements and data flows.
- Contribute to operational reviews and capacity planning by providing system usage insights and reporting metrics.
- Participate in governance activities including change control, compliance reviews, and audit support.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Familiarity with financial processes, internal controls, and compliance standards.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills across technical and business teams.
- Attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Interest in learning and supporting modern financial systems tools
- Experience in Workday Financials tools and basic configuration a plus.
- Fluency in Spanish is a plus
