Primary Responsibilities
- Register and schedule patients accurately and efficiently.
- Provide excellent customer service to patients, families, providers, and coworkers.
- Support patient admissions and front-end revenue cycle functions.
- Verify and maintain accurate demographic and insurance information.
- Follow organizational policies related to compliance, patient safety, and confidentiality.
- Collaborate with team members and clinical staff to ensure a positive patient experience.
- Maintain accuracy while working in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- No directly related experience
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to learn new systems and processes.
- Demonstrated customer service experience and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous patient access, registration, scheduling, healthcare administration, or medical office experience.
- Experience working directly with patients, families, customers, or clients in a service-focused environment.
- Strong computer and data-entry skills.
