Senior .NET Engineer

Ciklum is looking for a Senior .NET Engineer to join our team full-time in Ukraine.

About the role:

As a Senior .NET Engineer, become a part of a cross-functional development team engineering experiences of tomorrow. This role focuses on designing and implementing scalable data solutions using C# as the primary language. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver who thrives in both independent and collaborative environments.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable, high-performance  solutions on the platform

• Integrate external datasets and build robust, scalable data pipelines

• Develop and maintain back-end systems using C#

• Set and enforce high-quality coding standards, including source control practices using  Git and branching strategies

• Collaborate with global R&D and software teams to ensure seamless integration and  delivery

• Troubleshoot complex software, infrastructure, and automation challenges

• Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and DevOps innovations

• Align with project managers to track work items and ensure timely delivery of project  milestones

• Document technical solutions and delivery methodologies clearly and effectively

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of professional experience with .NET and C#, accounting for approximately 80% of the role

• Some experience with Angular or another JavaScript framework, accounting for approximately 20% of the role

• Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform, such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. AWS is preferred

• Experience with Kubernetes is considered a plus

• Proven ability to quickly understand existing systems and code, including reverse engineering complex codebases 

• Strong, methodical approach to debugging and troubleshooting complex issues

• Solid understanding of object oriented design principles and common design patterns

• Experience working with relational databases such as SQL Server

• Good knowledge of RESTful services and API design

• Experience with version control systems such as Git

• Strong problem solving and analytical skills

• Ability to work independently and take full ownership of customer issues end to end

• Proven experience in developing new features, enhancements, and contributing to ongoing product development
