Key Responsibilities:
In this pivotal role, you will:
- Lead surveillance testing programmes, analysing product performance, identifying risks, and driving improvements through data-led insights
- Develop and validate metrology methods across dimensional, mechanical, and functional measurements
- Take ownership of measurement system analysis (MSA), ensuring robust, accurate and compliant measurement processes
- Design and optimise CMM programmes for complex, tight-tolerance components
- Create and implement test protocols and technical procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory and quality standards
- Conduct hands-on testing and inspection, producing clear, evidence-based reports
- Collaborate cross-functionally with R&D, Manufacturing and Quality teams to resolve technical challenges and support audits

Skills/Experience:
We’re seeking a candidate who brings both strong technical expertise and a proactive, improvement-focused mindset:
Essential:
Degree (or equivalent experience) in Mechanical Engineering, Metrology, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field AND/OR Significant experience in metrology, dimensional inspection, or measurement systems engineering
Proven ability in CMM programming (e.g. PC-DMIS, Calypso or similar)
Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 / ISO 13485 within regulated manufacturing environments
Experience developing technical procedures, inspection plans, and test protocols
Expertise in statistical analysis, MSA, and capability studies
Desirable:
Experience working with pumps, tubing, or fluid-handling systems
You’ll also bring:
Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
A hands-on approach with testing equipment and measurement systems
Excellent technical writing and documentation skills
Confidence presenting complex data to stakeholders and auditors
A proactive, structured approach with the ability to drive continuous improvement independently
