Quality Assurance - Continuous Improvement Analyst
About this role
We're looking for a Continuous Improvement Analyst to help drive operational excellence across our manufacturing facilities. This role combines data analysis, Lean manufacturing, project leadership, and hands-on problem solving to improve safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and cost.
You'll work closely with leaders, supervisors, and frontline employees to identify opportunities, lead improvement initiatives, and build a culture focused on continuous improvement. What You'll Be Doing
- Partner with the Continuous Improvement Manager to identify and prioritize improvement opportunities
- Lead and support Lean initiatives including Kaizen, 5S, 3P, TPM, and DMAIC projects
- Conduct time studies and process observations to improve productivity and workflow
- Analyze manufacturing data and develop recommendations to improve performance
- Support SQDE boards and daily management systems
- Monitor customer and employee feedback to identify improvement opportunities
- Facilitate value stream mapping activities and develop improvement roadmaps
- Lead cross-functional problem-solving teams and improvement events
- Develop and track KPIs to measure project effectiveness and sustainability
- Support new process implementation and change management efforts
- Create and maintain Standard Work Instructions (SWIs), SOPs, and process documentation
- Train and mentor employees on Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement tools
- Work with operations, quality, engineering, and leadership teams to achieve business goals
- Drive a culture of accountability, ownership, and continuous improvement
What We're Looking For
- 2+ years of experience in Operations, Continuous Improvement, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, or a related field
- Experience leading or supporting Lean Manufacturing initiatives
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Comfortable coaching employees at all levels of the organization
- Ability to influence change without direct authority
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Self-motivated with a continuous improvement mindset
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations, Business, or related field
- Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, or Continuous Improvement experience
- Manufacturing or aerospace industry experience
- Experience with value stream mapping, root cause analysis, and process improvement methodologies
- Power BI, data visualization, or AI experience
- Project management experience
Technical Skills
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint
- Experience analyzing production and operational data
- Ability to develop reports, dashboards, and presentations
- Familiarity with statistical analysis and performance metrics
