Chromalloy is seeking a skilled CNC Operator to set up, program, and operate CNC and conventional machines that produce precision aerospace components. This is a hands-on role for someone who takes pride in quality workmanship, thrives in a manufacturing environment, and understands the importance of accuracy, consistency, and meeting tight tolerances. You'll be responsible for machine setup, part inspection, and day-to-day production activities while ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to specification.

Shift Information

Shift: 3rd Shift | Monday-Friday | 10:00 PM-6:30 AM
(Days and hours may fluctuate based on business needs, which may include weekends.)
Shift Differential: $2-$4 per hour, depending on assigned workdays
Sign-On Bonus: $1,000

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Set up, program, and operate CNC and conventional machines
  • Read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and specifications
  • Set up tooling, fixtures, and materials for production runs
  • Inspect parts using precision measuring tools to ensure quality standards are met
  • Make basic program edits and part adjustments as needed
  • Maintain production, quality, safety, and 5S standards
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and additional production activities as needed

What We're Looking For:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years of CNC machining experience preferred
  • Ability to set up and operate CNC machining equipment
  • Experience reading blueprints and technical drawings
  • Proficiency using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measuring tools
  • Understanding of machining tolerances and basic shop math
  • Strong attention to detail, quality, and safety
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to pass job-related skills testing

This position may require work hours outside of the regularly scheduled hours to meet operational needs. This may include work during evenings, weekends, and/or holidays. Additional work hours are assigned based on business requirements. Non-exempt employees will be paid overtime in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.

The salary range for this position reflects a broad spectrum of experience levels. Individual compensation within the range is determined by multiple factors, including relevant experience, education, certifications, job related skills, internal equity, and market conditions. We evaluate each candidate individually to ensure fair and competitive pay decisions.
