Job DetailsJob Location: Roff Office - Roff, OK 74865 As the primary interface with the customer, the Universal Banker exhibits a professional, business-like appearance and demeanor while assisting customers with financial transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and check cashing. Additional duties include keeping accurate records of all transactions, counting cash, answering phones, filing, and collecting payments. This hybrid role will also help customers by discovering financial needs, problem resolution, opening new deposit accounts, offering various products or services and helping the Branch meet sales goals, contributing to the success of the Bank. Tellers have an in-depth understanding of the banks’ systems and possess keyboarding and data entry skills necessary to perform daily tasks.
STATEMENT OF EXPECTATIONS
Chickasaw Community Bank (CCB) expects all employees to comply with the responsibilities of their assigned position to the highest degree of performance. Expectations include but are not limited to:

Maintain knowledge and understanding of banking rules, regulations, laws, and all policies and procedures
Knowledge of applicable bank software, programs, and procedures
Demonstrate a willingness to adapt to changing business needs and deadlines
Possess a work ethic that includes neatness and punctuality
Exhibit a professional, business-like appearance, and demeanor
Answer all voicemails and emails within 24 hours of receipt
Confer with management concerning questions, procedures, necessary information, forms completion, and problem resolutions
Complete and attend all required CCB training
Maintain satisfactory attendance
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Greet and direct customers.
Provide assistance in completing financial transactions.
Balance cash drawer at the end of each day.
Open new deposit accounts.
Maintain minimum cash levels and controls as outlined in the security program.
Answer phone and assist customers with inquiries, direct customers to proper departments as necessary.
Cross sell products and services; direct customers to proper departments as necessary.
Process Mail.
Meet Sales goals.
Process night drop deposits/payments.
Maintain logs.
Provide assistance in completing different types of financial transactions such as cashing checks, making deposits, savings, disbursing funds, selling cashier’s checks, cash advances and redeeming bonds, loan payments, CTR’s, stop payments, holds, memo posting and transfers.
Explain features and benefits of debit cards, online banking, bill pay, mobile banking, remote deposit capture, merchant services, and other bank services. Gather appropriate documentation where necessary.
Provide top-notch customer service in face-to-face interactions with potential customers.
Weekly cleaning of teller area, wiping down ATM and drive-thru tubes and night deposit area
Keep work area neat and organized.

Perform other tasks requested as they relate to the Bank and its functions
QualificationsENVIRONMENT AND INTERACTION
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Some travel is expected for this position.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
This work is sedentary and requires the following physical activities:
Sitting for long periods of time; occasional bending, squatting, kneeling, stooping; good finger dexterity and feeling; frequent repetitive motions; talking, hearing, and visual acuity.
Frequent lifting (up to 10 pounds of paper supplies or minor office equipment).
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Normal office environment.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or equivalent required
Cash handling and customer service experience required, preferred
At least six (6) months previous banking experience preferred
