Compensation & Benefits:
Estimated Starting Salary Range for SQL Systems Engineer - Expert: $230,000.00 - $240,000.00
Pay commensurate with experience.
Full-time benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, and other possible benefits as provided. Benefits are subject to change with or without notice.
SQL Systems Engineer - Expert Responsibilities Include:
- User account management, account and group policy management, installation and configurations of server and software, scripting, upgrade management, Tier3 and Tier4 O&M troubleshooting.
- Responsible for trouble shooting server network, and system issues.
- Ability to identify complex problems, document, and clearly articulate resolution.
- Monitor existing infrastructure, identify and coordinate implementation changes to address problems or engineering changes.
- Research systems to manage the distribution of updates and hotfixes across domains.
- Configure, manage, and deploy software updates to required groups.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned
SQL Systems Engineer - Expert Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:
Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
Must have a minimum of eleven (11) years of relevant experience
Have at least a Bachelors' Degree in a relevant field of study; a Master's Degree is preferred.
- Ability to demonstrate Tier 2, Tier 3, and Tier4 troubleshooting skills
- Ability to demonstrate expert experience with Server OS 2008R2, 2012R2, 2016, 2019
- Expert knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP
- Demonstrate in-depth knowledge and experience with cloud technologies.
- Microsoft SCCM/SQL Experience with 1906+ and SQL
- Understanding of Images, Manage Image, Build Image, and Deploy the Image
- Experience with scripting in PowerShell, VB and/or C#
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks
- Experience writing enterprise level technical standards documentation and diagrams
- Must be certified in the following:
- Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE)
/Microsoft Certified IT Progession (MCITP) - Microsoft Azure Pack
- PowerShell
- Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE)
- Understanding Enterprise Networking best practices
