Veterinary Pharmacist

Position Title: Veterinary Pharmacist & Billing Executive

Department: Pet shop, Billing and Pharmacy

Location: Domlur, Cessna Lifeline Veterinary Healthcare Private Limited

Role Summary:

The Pharmacist will be responsible for dispensing medicines, managing pharmacy operations, handling billing, supporting retail sales, and ensuring compliance with pharmacy regulations. The role includes client interaction, inventory management, and coordination with doctors and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

Mandatory

• Ensure compliance with Drugs & Cosmetics Act, Narcotics and Pharmacy regulations
  
• Review prescriptions for accuracy and safety
  
• Dispense medicines as per the prescriptions
  
• Maintain prescription validation and records
  
• Avoid dispensing expired or incorrect medicines
  
• Maintain confidentiality
  
• Maintain labeling and documentation
  
• Coordinate with veterinarians
  
• Maintain expiry check
  
• Track out-of-stock items and inform clients
  

 General:

• Provide friendly, professional, and personalized customer service
  
• Assist customers with product information and purchase of products and accessories
  
• Process sales transactions accurately using the checkout system
  
• Maintain store presentation, merchandising, and stock levels
  
• Support inventory management and stock replenishment
  
• Work collaboratively with the team to achieve sales targets
  
• Coordinate with doctors, lab, and reception teams
  
• Proactive and detail-oriented approach
  
• Through the knowledge you gain, you will inspire and educate customers on the best care and products for their pets.
  

Requirements

Educational Qualifications:

• D. Pharma/B. Pharma/M. Pharma
  
• Valid registered pharmacist license
  

About You

• A passion for animals and providing the best customer service
  
• Pharmacy experience (min. two to three years) and with a positive attitude
  
• Reliable, punctual, and well-presented
  
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  
• Flexible availability, including weekends
  
• Be computer literate and knowledge in the latest billing software will be a plus point.
  
• Strong Communication Skills with an eye for accuracy and detail
  
• Experience using a POS system and handling cash
  
• Experience with Sales targets and KPI's
  
• Strong interpersonal skills with ability to build relationships and rapport with customers and the team
  
• Physically fit, with ability to lift products up to 20kgs
