The Cut and Sew Superintendent will be responsible for the daily operations of a Cutting and a Sewing Department.

Essential Duties

Manage all aspects of Cut and Sew departments with the assistance of managers
Maintain quality control standards, safety standards, and labor efficiencies
Work closely with the upholstery floor to resolve any quality or production issues
Identify and address fabric and leather issues working through our Purchasing Department
Must follow all safety policies and procedures
All other duties as assigned

QualificationsPosition Requirements

High school diploma or GED preferred
5 years+ as a Cut and Sew Superintendent in an upholstered furniture factory
Ability to work with all levels of the company
Excel, Word, and SAP skills are required
Technical knowledge of cutting and sewing operations
Knowledge of Fabric and Leather standards
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Solid understanding of Lean Manufacturing techniques

Must be able to walk, stand, climb, stoop, twist, push, pull, and bend over the course of 9 hours
