We are currently seeking a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Indiana State Prison located in Michigan City, Indiana.
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) (Medical) is responsible for providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients while working under the direction of Registered Nurses (RN) and medical and psychiatric staff, to respond to a range of physical and behavioral health needs.
Qualifications
Indiana Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license or ability to obtain one required
Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
Corrections experience not required
Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
Available Shifts
Full-time Nights 7pm-7:30am, three shifts per week, every other weekend
