Center for Human Development’s (CHD) Adult Day Health is currently seeking a Registered Nurse to join our team. We are excited to offer a $2000 sign on bonus.

The Adult Day Health program located in Springfield, MA, provides adult day health services designed to meet the physical, functional and social needs of elderly and disabled persons. We offer a comprehensive array of services, including medical management, therapeutic programs, nutritional support, daily activities, mental stimulation and opportunities for social interaction. The RN plays an integral part in the care for all individuals served.   

Job Description:

  • Preferred candidates have two years of recent experience providing direct care in a nursing capacity for the elderly, adults or the chronically ill.
  • Preferred one year of experience working in an adult day health setting.
  • Process the skills and knowledge to perform the duties consistent with the adult day health requirements and regulations.
  • The ability to assess health issues.
  • The ability to work effectively with an interdisciplinary team.
  • Knowledge regarding health and nutrition.
  • The ability to provide direct care.

Qualifications:

  • Must have a valid Registered Nursing License through The Board of Nursing in Massachusetts.
  • A valid driver’s license and safe driver’s record, as well as a clean and clear criminal history is mandated.

Schedule:

  • Full-time Position: 8:00am to 4:00pm, Monday through Friday. 

Payrate:

The payrate is $82,409.60 annual salary, and is complemented with a phenomenal benefit package that includes, Dental, Health and Life insurance, a flexible schedule, paid time off, earned vacation time and paid holidays just to name a few. Take advantage of a $2000 sign on bonus!
