Recovery Specialist
About this role
Center for Human Development, CHD, is currently seeking 2nd shift Recovery Specialist to join our Two River’s Program in Greenfield, MA!
Two Rivers Recovery Center is a therapeutic residential treatment program for women in early recovery. Two Rivers provides services for up to 25 women and five newborns in a collective living environment, where women (and some newborns) share space and resources in an effort to build sober community and peaceful living. As a therapeutic setting, we strive to provide each woman with a safe, nurturing environment to foster success. TRRC provides the resources where women grow emotionally, socially, and spiritually through the clinical and supportive services.
Your role as Direct Care:
- Supporting clients' activities of daily living
- Administering medications as needed
- Advocate for individuals and provide opportunities to optimize their independence, rehabilitation and recovery
- Develop professional and supportive relationships with clients and provide informal counseling and guidance with a person-centered focus
- Provide a safe and sober environment that is relevant, consistent and nurturing
- If residents have children, provide the skills and support residents need to parent residents’ children
- Assist in preparation for vocational and workforce development
Requirements:
- All positions require background screening including a CORI and motor vehicle record check, as well as a reliable vehicle.
- Preferred experience with working in the substance use/mental health field
- Experience in a group home setting preferred

This is a full time, 2nd shift opportunity. Work hours will be Tuesday - Saturday 2:30pm-10:30pm.
